Yes, it's about time I updated. I changed the page layout to this sunflower thingi, because I liked the boldness of the colors, and the vividness of the flower. I am slowly realizing my flawed reasoning. The layout... reminds me of a bee. A bumble bee, in fact. I despise insects, and fear them even more. So I am searching for more layouts. Yes. I am a lone, feeble mind when it comes to html and web page designing. I get most of my stuff from Blogskins, and doctor it up to fit my page. Learning html is a full time job. I have a full time job, and on top of that, full time of school. So please excuse my inability to maintain a normal life while taking down more than two full time anythings.

Regarding the burglary -- I have mourned enough. Although the refrigerator, standing quite askew, and the inevitable hole in the wall still startles me, and refreshes my memory, I am doing alright. Life is back to normal completely, and once again, I feel very much at home at work. Which isn't a good thing, now that I think of it.

I am officially on the prowl for a digital camera. I had borrowed Shane's digital camera (a Sipix, very simple, perhaps 1 MP or so, no LCD for digital picture viewing...) for about 4 months. During that time, I have taken pictures of mostly my cat, and other useless creatures, such as my little brother -- just kidding. It's about time I return the damned thing, and get myself a great camera, worthy of praise. Up until a week ago, I was really really, REALLY in love with the Olympus Stylus 300. 3 MP seemed good enough for me -- but what really captivated me was its small size, and silver casing. It was so sleek, and had a nice platinum-ish glow about it... and what sane girl can resist platinum, right? I just really loved the exterior design. However, it seems that consumer reviews weren't too great... it's sales rank at Amazon are in the 3 digits (Read: poor sales!). My brother recommended the Canon ones. He himself is not a digital camera consumer, but I guess one of his friends had one which performed well enough to be recommendable. So I looked at some Canon ones -- mainly the S400 and S230. S230 is not too expensive, however, lacks a lot of what the S400 has to offer. S400 captured my interest. Nice rectangular design, compact, again, silver. 4MP, Li-H Battery, good quality. So the S400 is my current pursuit, in this mad frenzy of buying a compact digital camera. I have $300 of Amazon gift certificates saved up, thanks to T-Mobile, and my coz in DC. (Thanks for the gift!) So I would only pay an additional 100 or so. I'm still doing research -- I am a very cautious shopper, especially on items costing more than $10. I pay attention to the most tedious bit of details... so I'm still researching. It took me nearly a month to zero in on a portable Discman... (which I only paid $30... brand new in package, albeit a nice slimy green color... courtesy of eBay! Thank you eBay~~~) So that's what I'm into these days. School is starting in a couple of days... less than a week now. September, here I come!
