Someone decided to end their life by shooting 7 different guns in their apartment. Because of him, the I-5, N-bound and S-bound were both blocked off from traffic, as well as parts of 134 freeway. The end result is that I could not get out of my street. There were so many cars, lined up for miles and it was impossible to get to anywhere. What a mess! The guy was found dead, so there's a lot of unexplained questions, no doubt.
I think my mom has finally decided on buying a car. I don't know where what and how much, because I left that all up to her, and I swore not to take any part of it. Hopefully she'll make a good decision and be happy with it. She can't complain to me, because she made the purchase. Plus, she'll be driving the damned thing anyways.
One comment about the educational facility I attend, and all educational institutions for that matter. If I am in a freshman English course, and we have to do a peer-evaluation-editing crap for a research paper that's worth 20% of the final grade... won't I be missing out by pairing up with someone who doesn't speak much English? It took me an extremely loooooong time doing a thorough and sincere critiquing and examination of his paper. He spent about 10-15 minutes on mine, and made no correction whatsoever. Grrrrrrrreat. Hopefully I can still score an A without much more work... I'm doing this class "half-assed" as my brother says, and I'm getting a faaaaabulous A+. But I still wish that I had insightful input on a paper like that, especially since I decided to do my English major and all. Jeez.
